If youāve been here for a while, you know burrata is my love language.
Creamy, delicate, and endlessly versatile - I could honestly eat it every day and never get bored. This time, I paired it with something sweet, something a little fiery, and something crunchy on the side. The result? A toast topping thatās elegant, surprising and completely addictive.

This is not just food - this is summer in a bite.
š« Why it works
Burrata is all about balance. Its creamy richness begs for contrast, and thatās where my homemade 10-minute blueberry jam comes in. Sweet, juicy, and slightly tart, it cuts right through the creaminess. Add a sprinkle of chili flakes for a gentle kick and golden toasted baguette for crunch, and youāve got the perfect harmony of flavors and textures.
š§ Ingredients
1 fresh burrata ball
1 tbsp olive oil
A pinch of sea salt
2 tbsp homemade 10-minute blueberry jam (recipe coming in my next blog post!)
A sprinkle of chili flakes
1 small baguette, sliced and toasted

š„ Method
Tear or scatter the burrata into a bowl
Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with a tiny pinch of sea salt
Spoon the blueberry jam over the top - donāt be shy, let it ooze into the cheese
Add a light sprinkle of chili flakes for that subtle heat
Toast the baguette slices until golden, then serve them alongside
šæ Serving tip
Spread the burrata mix over the warm baguette slices, take a bite, and let the sweet, salty, spicy, creamy crunch work its magic. Perfect for brunch, a light appetizer, or a cozy evening snack.
This recipe is proof that sometimes the simplest things are the most extraordinary. And the best part? It only takes a few minutes to make.
Stay tuned as Iāll be sharing my quick blueberry jam recipe with you very soon. š
